I chose to explore water because it has always been part of my life. From a very young age, I was instinctively drawn to it, always swimming whenever I could, regardless of the season or my clothes. Later, I started competitive swimming, reinforcing how deeply water is tied to who I am.
The film is a poetic exploration of this. I worked extensively with opacity and layering to recreate the visual and sensory feeling of being underwater, echoing the way water distorts perception. This visual approach also reflects the fluidity of emotions, how feelings overlap, dissolve, and transform.
